Going the Extra Mile

Business Goals

     As a leader, I recognize how much businesses and schools play a vital role in the community.  As a mayor, my goal is to visit every business in Aberdeen and make sure that they are aware of the municipal resources such as Enterprise Zones and create opportunities for them to use benefits associated with being a minority or women business enterprise. 

Education Goals

     Additionally, as a former Spanish teacher, I believe that promoting how a municipal government operates helps bring value to the city and encourages civic participation.  Hence, as mayor, I will visit classrooms, encourage field trips to City Hall, promote the Maryland Municipal’s League’s Mayor’s Essay to 4th graders and place in the halls of city hall art from all Aberdeen schools, including Roye-Williams Elementary School.
